Welcome to Monk’s Bar & Grill during the summertime frenzy that is Downtown Wisconsin Dells!  We’ve perfected the ‘smell marketing’ campaign that Monk’s has been known for all these years.  We bring in tons of new and returning customers every summer because of the vents releasing the delicious aromas of our flattop grills at the front of the building.  Original owner, ‘Monk’ Heineke knew it would be an instant hit with people and decided he had to have the cooking take place at the front window!

Never tried fish tacos?  Here’s what you’re missing out on:  fresh flour tortillas,  crispy cabbage, tempura mahi mahi, a sweet mango salsa and depending on the Monk’s locations you may get a chipotle aioli (fancy name for a gourmet mayo) or an ancho chipotle sauce (two kinds of spicy peppers- one great taste)!  You can also find Baraboo using them as spring and summer Wednesday night specials on occasion.
